EASY Apple-Filled Pancake Recipe

Pancakes! One of the most popular breakfast items! So many ways to make them, so many different toppings! Why does this recipe make it better? It doesn't! It's just another fun recipe to make since Oregon just extended it's 'State of Emergency' til July 6 or something like that. Come onnnn..... I'm gonna gain so much weight!!!

Actually, I have take an almost 4 week break (hence why I haven't posted on here) since I started feeling crappy and decided to start back on a "healthy kick". BUT I got motivated and needed something fun to shoot so, here is a fun and easy pancake recipe!

Ingredients:
  • Your favorite Pancake Mix! I used Bisquick! Prepare as directed on box
  • 2 apples of your choice. I love Jonagold and anything sweeter!
  • Fruit toppings! Blueberries, bananas, strawberries.
  • Walnuts or pecans.
  • Homemade whip. 1 pint heavy whip cream + 1/3 C sugar. Whip until stiff peaks!
  • Maple Syrup of your choice
Directions:
  • Prepare pancake mix as directed on the back of the box
  • Peel and shred 2 apples in a bowl. After shredded, take apple mixture and squeeze all the juice out. Put the juice-less shredded apple in the pancake mix and mix together
  • Butter your skillet and pour pancake batter in (size of your liking.)
  • As one side starts to bubble, flip over!
  • Prep all your fruit! Cut the strawberries and bananas (plus whatever else you want to use)
  • Cut up your walnuts/pecans.
  • Stack your pancakes, put a nice big dollop of whip on top and assemble your fruit, walnuts and a good drizzle of maple syrup. Finish with some powder sugar on top!
